Search boxes send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that returns the sponsored results. We do not save a separate server copy of those queries. A direct message to us contains only the details you choose to send, and we use that message to answer you.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create routine logs that can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps us maintain the site and see which resources are useful. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may also use cookies or similar tools.
How We Use Limited Data
We process this information to run the service, diagnose faults, measure site traffic, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to Sacramento County and California portals, courts, libraries, archives, and outside search services. Information entered on those sites falls under their own privacy policies. The same is true for sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Security and Retention
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because visitors do not create accounts, we do not maintain a user password or account profile here.
Visitors Under Age 18
This resource is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if a person under 18 has submitted personal data so we can remove it.

California consumer privacy law provides access, deletion, correction, and opt-out rights in circumstances that apply to covered businesses and data brokers. Because our records are limited, we can review our contact mailbox and available server logs for a request. Use the Contact page to reach us. Government records held by Sacramento County, a city, a court, or the State of California remain outside our control. A correction or removal request for one of those records must go to its custodian.
